Local search optimization
This section of a results page is a list of businesses matching what the consumer is searching for and where the consumer is searching. Local search requires two consumer parameters for search input: the “what” is the product or service and the “where” is the geographic location. It can be explicitly provided by the consumer in the search query by typing a city name or zip code for example or implicitly assumed by other information the search engine has access to return.
